International Ice Hockey Federation was founded in 1908 and has been supporting Ice Hockey’s mission worldwide since then. The IIHF features 84 member associations across the globe and controls the ice hockey’s international rules, runs numerous development programmes, and organizes over 25 different World Championships in five different categories across the globe.

Case Example: Supporting the creative work of IIHF Championships
With multiple World Championships held each year across the globe, extensive support is required to manage different events and assist local organizing committees in their work.
To support championship branding across all events, we transformed an outdated and limited guideline into a clear and practical set of comprehensive guidelines. These guidelines help ensure each championship aligns with the IIHF brand and cover logo creation, application across marketing materials, and key considerations for building a strong and consistent visual identity.

To support this process in practice, we also developed ready-made logo design templates. These templates help logo designers work more efficiently and confidently, without needing to worry about the technical requirements of IIHF championship logos.
These guidelines and ready-made templates have received positive feedback from designers around the world by making their work easier. They have also reduced the workload of the IIHF Marketing Department by minimizing the need for constant communication and logo adjustments.
